Danny Care hopes a heartbreaking defeat by South Africa in Saturday’s World Cup semi-final has won over any England fans who had grown disillusioned with the team dumaguete
England went out on their shields after the Springboks needed a last-gasp penalty from Handre Pollard to snatch victory having trailed for 75 minute of a thunderous showdown at the Stade de France dumaguete
As Owen Farrell orchestrated a wet weather masterclass that rattled the world champions, the discontent generated by poor recent Six Nations campaigns, the Eddie Jones era limping on for too long and August’s alarming collapse in form faded away dumaguete
And although the distant outsiders were unable to complete their unlikely mission of securing a place in next Saturday’s final against New Zealand, head coach Steve Borthwick should begin rebuilding his side amid a groundswell of support dumaguete
Booing is a sound heard frequently at England games in recent times, particularly at Twickenham, but Care views the progress made in France under Borthwick’s guidance as a cause to rally around dumaguete
“There was a lot of stuff said about us before and hopefully we’ve changed some perceptions, maybe got people believing in us again,” the Harlequins scrum-half said dumaguete
“Before the tournament, we understand that because of our performances people were doubting us a little bit dumaguete
But then things clicked into gear a bit when we got over to France dumaguete
There was a lot of stuff said about us before and hopefully we've changed some perceptions, maybe got people believing in us again,Danny Care“We’ve shown stuff that fans can hopefully get behind and be proud of dumaguete
The support we’ve had over here and back home has been amazing dumaguete
This team will go on to bigger and dumaguete better things, I’m sure of it dumaguete
”England led by nine points until RG Snyman went over in the 70th minute, but the tide had already begun turning as South Africa’s ‘Bomb Squad’ forced four scrum penalties dumaguete
“It was tough in that changing room dumaguete
Unfortunately great effort doesn’t get you over the line sometimes,” said the 36-year-old Care, who revealed he will remain available for Test selection after the World Cup dumaguete
“I was sat in the bath with Maro Itoje and we were saying how sport can be cruel dumaguete
It’s why we love it so much, it’s on a knife edge so often dumaguete
There’s one happy changing room, one sad one dumaguete
“For me personally, when time is running out on your international career it’s tough to take, but I’m incredibly proud to be part of this team dumaguete
”England have one final assignment before departing France in the shape of Friday’s bronze final, customarily an unloved fixture in the World Cup schedule dumaguete
But Care insists third place is a prize worth winning dumaguete
“We’d love to have been in the big dance but we’re not dumaguete
The next best thing you can do is to finish third and try to make more people back home proud of this England team,” Care said dumaguete
“We’ll dust ourselves off pretty quick dumaguete
Losing to South Africa is going to be harsh and tough to take for a couple of days but that’s sport – you’ve got to bounce back dumaguete

Many readers have contacted The Independent with concerns about their travel plans to the Middle East as well as the eastern Mediterranean dumaguete
These are the key questions and answers dumaguete
Is travel to and from Israel still possible?Yes, commercial flights continue, with El Al linking London Heathrow and Luton with Tel Aviv dumaguete
But the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) warns against travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories dumaguete
Standard travel insurance will be invalidated if you choose to go there – and any form of tourism would be completely inappropriate in the current circumstances dumaguete
Which other Middle East locations are also officially no-go areas?RecommendedInside the cruise ship that will let passengers live onboard for 3 dumaguete
5 years at a timeFlight diverted after adult nappy in plane toilet mistaken for a bombAir-traffic control failure: what will be different next time? The Foreign Office warns against travel to:IraqLebanonSyriaThe FCDO warns against travel to certain areas of these countries:Egypt: Most of the nation is off limits dumaguete
Crucially, though, the Foreign Office does not warn against travel to tourist areas, including the entire Red Sea coast and the Nile Valley all the way from the Sudan border to the Mediterranean, including Abu Simbel, Aswan, Luxor, Cairo and the Pyramids and Alexandria dumaguete
Jordan: Only a 3km strip of territory along the Syrian border is off-limits dumaguete
Saudi Arabia: Only a 10km strip of territory along the Yemeni border is off-limits dumaguete
Terrorist attacks have taken place in these countries, and the FCDO warns that further attacks are likely dumaguete
But without a “no-go” warning, travel firms can continue to send holidaymakers – and need not offer refunds to people unwilling to travel dumaguete
I have a tour of Jordan in three weeks dumaguete
What are my options? You could choose to cancel, but if you do so you are likely to lose most or all of your money dumaguete
The terrible events in Israel and Gaza are of huge concern for the Middle East, but at present the Foreign Office believes that Jordan is sufficiently safe for British visitors dumaguete
I have also checked the advice to travellers issued by the Australian and US governments – both of which mirror the British line dumaguete
Jordan is a fascinating and welcoming nation, which I have been lucky enough to visit several times in the past few years dumaguete
On the basis of my experiences I would not hesitate to travel to the Jordanian capital, Amman, or any of the main tourist sites: Jerash, the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba dumaguete
If the Foreign Office advice changes to warn against travel to Jordan, package holiday companies will automatically cancel trips and refund dumaguete
Airlines are likely to offer flexibility dumaguete
Aircraft flying in and out of Amman are avoiding Israeli airspace dumaguete
The British Airways arrival from London Heathrow on Monday took an extended flight path to reach the Jordanian capital, flying south over Egypt to the Red Sea before turning north once in Jordanian airspace dumaguete
Is Egypt a safe prospect? The overall risk level has not changed since the new conflict began in Egypt, and anecdotal evidence suggests that the conflict has not had any impact on the tourist experience in resorts, cities and archaeological sites dumaguete
Flights from the UK to Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh and the other main Red Sea airport at Hurghada do not go anywhere near Israel dumaguete
The number of links from the UK to Egyptian airports is planned to increase sharply in late October and early November, and there is currently no reason to avoid the country dumaguete
I am booked on a cruise in the eastern Mediterranean, transiting the Suez Canal to the Red Sea dumaguete
Is it likely to go ahead?Yes dumaguete
While the conflict continues, cruise lines are avoiding calls at Israeli ports dumaguete
But eastern Mediterranean, Suez and Red Sea cruises are continuing dumaguete
The only specific warning from the Foreign Office is: “Photography of, or near, military property is strictly banned dumaguete
This includes the Suez Canal dumaguete
”Cruise lines are well versed in responding to geo-political crises, and if there is any perception of significant threat the itinerary will be adjusted dumaguete
What if I cancel and the travel advice changes to warn against visiting a currently ‘safe’ country? You will lose most or all of your money – even if the Foreign Office subsequently advises against travel dumaguete
Should I worry about attitudes to Western visitors in other Arab countries and the wider Islamic world?Since the assault on Israel began, the FCDO has warned of the risks from demonstrations and disturbances in a number of Arab nations, including Morocco and Oman dumaguete
For Morocco, the Foreign Office warns: “There remains the potential for demonstrations across the country dumaguete
You should avoid these gatherings, and be aware of the potential for protests to occur spontaneously dumaguete
”For Oman, the warning is: “Be alert to local and regional developments, which might trigger public disturbances dumaguete
”But there is no evidence of tourists being subject to harassment since the latest conflict began dumaguete
Are flightpaths dumaguete between the UK and Asia affected?Airlines constantly monitor threats and adjust trajectories accordingly dumaguete
For example, Virgin Atlantic flight VS250 from London Heathrow to Shanghai would in normal times traverse Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Russia on its way to eastern China dumaguete
But because of the exclusion of European aircraft from Russian and Ukrainian airspace, it follows a more southerly trajectory dumaguete
The latest flight flew over the Balkans, the Black Sea and the Caucasus before turning northeast over the Caspian Sea dumaguete

5 years at a timeFlight diverted after adult nappy in plane toilet mistaken for a bombAir-traffic control failure: what will be different next time?On the extremely popular link dumaguete between the UK and Dubai, Emirates is currently flying over Turkey, Iraq and Kuwait, avoiding Syria, Lebanon and Israel dumaguete
dumaguete Between London Heathrow and the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the standard route is over Egypt dumaguete
